Originally from Norway, Sunny is a contemporary/jazz dancer and choreographer. After receiving her BA in dance education from the University of Stavanger she has been teaching, choreographing and dancing in both Norway and New York. In the past few years Sunny has worked closely with several choreographers and companies such as 2010UnProject,  Andreas Bjørneboe, Peter Kyle, Max Stone, Julia Ehrstrand, mishiDance and Theater Prosperpina. In 2016 Sunny moved to New York on a permanent basis with her Artist visa and is currently dancing with The Next Stage Project and Amirov Dance Theater. In addition to being a dancer, Sunny is also passionate about her job as an AntiGravity instructor and other Aerial work. In 2017 she performed her first aerial hammock solo in Norway and her first aerial silks performance in NYC. Sunny has been dancing with Amirov Dance Theater since 2016.




Suki Clements received her BFA in Dance in 2012 at UC Santa Barbara, graduating on the Dean's list with scholarships and awards in the achievement of dance excellence. Since moving to NYC in 2012 Suki has had the chance to work with many talented artists including the Erica Essner Performance Co-Op, Summation Dance Company, Pavel Machuca, Megan Ross Projects, Lotus Temple Dancers, and has also presented her own work in the Pushing Progress Series. Her most notable moments as a dancer include touring to Italy, LA, and performing at BAM. In Addition to Dancing with Amirov Dance Theater, Suki is a member of BARE Dance Company and Shawn Bible Dance Company. Suki has been working with Amirov Dance Theater since 2016.




Ashley Menestrina grew up studying all styles of dance in Knoxville, TN. In 2010, she was accepted into the conservatory of performing arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA.  She completed the program in just three years and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in jazz. Following graduation, she immediately moved to New York City to pursue a professional career in dance. She is currently dancing for BARE Dance Company, Dante Brown|Warehouse Dance and Amirov Dance Theater. She has performed works by Mike Esperanza, Dante Brown, Julia Ehrstrand, Alexandra Amirov, Maleek Washington, and Brice Mousset. Lastly, she is now performing her own choreography on stages throughout New York City. Her self-choreographed solo, Always a Creature has been seen at WAXworks, the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, the CURRENT SESSIONS’, Peridance’s Salvatore Capezio Theater, Center for Performance Research, 14th Street Y, and the Hudson Guild Theater.  On May 20, 2017, Her newest work, a dance film titled sans me r i t, premiered at Gowanus Loft in Brooklyn, NY as part of The Workshop Series for DBWD. Ashley has been dancing with Amirov Dance Theater since 2015.

Anna Pinault grew up in Minnesota, and started her dance training with hip hop and street styles. After taking her first modern dance class at the age of 12, she fell in love and began to explore the world of classical dance. She trained at TU Dance Center throughout high school and moved to New York City as soon as she graduated. Anna trains in many dance styles, including hip hop, house, dancehall, ballet, Horton, Graham, Taylor, West African, and contemporary. She has also danced works by a diverse range of choreographers, including Ronald K. Brown, Uri Sands, Catherine Cabeen, Jessica Hendricks, Laurel Keen, Morgan Bobrow-Williams, and Gabe Katz. Recently graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with her BFA in modern dance, she is thrilled to be a part of Amirov Dance Theater's unique and challenging work! Anna joined Amirov Dance Theater in 2017.




Suzie Rzecznik (Company Dancer) is a NYC based freelance dance artist working as a performer, creative associate, teacher, and improviser. She is a graduate of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, PA and received a BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College in New York, NY. She also studied at the Joffrey Ballet School, NYC, and San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. While training, Suzie performed works by Ohad Naharin, Lar Lubovitch, Alex Ketley, Christian Burns, Cherice Barton, and Mark Morris. Professionally, Suzie has danced for Marlena Wolfe, Bare Dance Company, NOW Dance Project, Tyler Gilstrap, Jenn Rose, Elena Vazintaris Dance Projects, and the Kuperman Brothers among others. Suzie is rehearsal director for NOW Dance Project and choreographic assistant to Anthony Morigerato and Elena Vazintaris. She also collaborates with improviser Olivier Besson in Boston. Currently, Suzie is working on a few different collaborative projects including a solo improvisation performance recently shown at Triskelion Arts and at The Craft NY. Suzie  joined Amirov Dance Theater in 2017.




Asami Tomida was born, raised and began dance training in Japan. She trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and gaga. She received her B.A from Nihon University College of Art and worked at Universal Studios Japan in 2009. Asami moved to NYC in 2010 and graduated from Hunter College as a Dance Major in 2013. Tomida has worked with choreographers Stefanie Batten Bland, Donna Uchizono, Julian Barnett, Yuki Hasegawa and Doug Varone , Samuel Pott and Ray Sullivan, and has worked with Nimbus Dance Work , Miami contemporary dance company and New Century Dance Company. She has been working with Alexandra since 2012 and dancing with Amirov Dance Theater since 2013.
